Neurodiversity Coaching for Professionals

Think differently. Thrive authentically.

Our one-on-one coaching offers a supportive, non-judgmental space for neurodivergent professionals - including those with ADHD and more - to explore how their brains work best, develop practical strategies, and create lasting change.

Whether you're feeling stuck, navigating a new diagnosis, or wanting to perform at a higher level without burning out, our coaching helps you understand yourself more deeply and work with your brain—not against it.

Why choose Human Fabric?

All our coaches combine international ADHD-specific training with real-world professional careers in leadership, consulting, science, engineering, construction, and public service.

We bring a blend of lived experience being neurodivergent ourselves, professional credibility, and practical insight that resonates with people who’ve had to mask, over-perform, or “figure it out alone.”

You’ll work with a coach who genuinely “gets it” and can help you feel seen, validated, and equipped—while focusing on real outcomes.

Why work with a coach?

Many of our clients are late-diagnosed, highly capable and intelligent professionals who’ve spent years feeling:

  • Burnt out from trying to meet neurotypical expectations
  • Confused by their inconsistencies
  • Often frustrated, stuck, or overwhelmed
  • Misunderstood by others
  • Unsure of what they need or why some approaches don’t work for them

Professional coaching helps you break that cycle, by equipping you to understand yourself, reclaim your strengths, and create systems and mindsets that actually support you.

What happens in a coaching session?

Each session is guided by your agenda—a challenge, habit, opportunity, or aspect of your neurodivergence that you want to explore. Together, you and your coach agree on a goal for the session and unpack it through questions that lead to clarity, new insights, and perspective shifts.

Sessions typically follow this rhythm:

  • You bring the focus – something specific you want to work through.
  • We get curious together – your coach guides the conversation to explore patterns, blockers, strengths, and ideas.
  • We reflect and ground it – each session ends with key learnings and actions, viewed through a neurodiversity lens to ensure they’re actually usable in your real world.

This isn’t just theory—it’s coaching that’s designed to stick. You’ll walk away with personalised strategies and tools that match your wiring and your life.

Testimonials

"I highly recommend Jenny’s ADHD coaching. Jenny has helped me reframe situations that were concerning me and holding me back, helped me see my strategies for remembering things as being a good thing rather than something to be ashamed of, and helped me explore why I react to certain situations which has helped me change my response. I am much happier in myself and confident about my future." - Coaching client, May 2025

"After our conversation I was full of energy and optimism which is refreshing.  I don't feel so alone in my experiences now. " - Coaching client, April 2025

"Thank you, that was another fantastic session, and I have already started the self-appreciation 😊" - Coaching client, April 2025

"I absolutely recommend Jenny as an empathetic and empowering coach. She recently helped me shift my mindset around a tricky issue I was having in my life. I enjoyed the coaching process a lot, even though it felt like a tough topic where I initially didn't see a clear way forward. The questions Jenny asked me were just the right level of challenging and made me think, helping me gain a greater appreciation of how my ADHD was showing up, as well as the strengths I could bring to the situation. I came away from the session with a more positive outlook and some clear, achievable steps that I've already started putting in place." - Coaching client, March 2025

Other useful things to know

Coaching vs. other types of support

It’s important to understand how coaching differs from other kinds of support:

  • Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is about what’s next, not what happened then. It doesn’t involve diagnosis, mental health treatment, or processing trauma.
  • Coaching is action-based. You choose the focus, and we work together to cultivate awareness and create strategies.
  • Therapy, by contrast, often focuses on emotional healing, trauma, or mental health conditions and may involve exploring deeper psychological patterns.
  • If you’re currently navigating significant mental health challenges, therapy may be the better fit.

Crisis support

Coaching is a space for growth, experimentation, and empowerment, but it’s not a crisis service.

If you are currently in distress or facing a mental health emergency, please reach out to one of these 24/7 support services in New Zealand:

Please also consult your GP or healthcare provider for support with diagnosis, medication, or mental health treatment.
