Thriving Neurodivergent Professionals
Generating personal insights, empowering perspectives, and practical approaches to create the environment to thrive in your career.
Overview
This programme is tailored specifically for neurodivergent professionals, providing a safe and empowering space to explore personal strengths, challenges, co-develop strategies for self-management at work, and understand what you need from others. Participants will gain personalised insights and strategies, build confidence, and leave with a clear understanding of what they need to thrive in their career.

Format
3 x 2hr coaching workshops
Delivered online in small groups of 8-20 people, or in-person in your offices (if run privately in an organisation).
What we cover
- Uncovering Strengths: Recognising the talents you offer and the conditions for them to surface.
- Exploring challenges: Reflecting on the times when things haven't gone to plan, with a neurodivergent lens, to surface what you need to achieve your goals more consistently.
- Identifying Preferences: Gaining insights on working and communication styles.
- Overcoming External Barriers: Identifying external challenges to thriving at work and approaches to address them with colleagues and managers.
- Self-Management Strategies: Developing practical strategies for relationships, focus, communication, and productivity.
- The Fabric of Me: Crafting a manual of how to bring your best self to work, for experimenting with and communicating with others.
Prerequisites
We highly recommend that you complete one of these introductory courses first, so that you come in with a base knowledge of neurodiversity in the work context:
If you have ADHD traits, you may also wish to complete this course beforehand, so that you can bring in deeper insights on your executive functioning to this course, which focuses on the work context:

Facilitators
Lead Facilitator - Jenny Turner
Jenny is an experienced business leader, leadership coach, neurodiversity coach and consultant. She is an engaging and energetic presenter, and a responsive facilitator of modern adult learning. Jenny brings a blend of coaching techniques, thought-provoking activities, and evidence-based knowledge for participants. She weaves in insights from her own career as a successful professional with ADHD.
Co-Facilitator - Jen Price
Jen is is a skilled neurodiversity consultant and coach, who brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, including roles at the Ministry for the Environment and the Office of the Auditor-General. As a late-diagnosed ADHDer, she brings in-depth understanding of the factors that support the success of neurodivergent individuals at work.
